An emergency response team from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Finance and a number of the unit's paving equipment arrived in Malhan District in Al Mahwit Province to participate in the rescue and reduce the damage caused by the floods.The Director General of the Unit, Shihab Al Shami, indicated to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the unit's paving equipment will work to open roads and help affected families stuck due to the floods in Al Qibla District and a number of areas.He explained that the equipment started its work this morning within the framework of government directives on the necessity of intervention to help those affected.. noting that the unit will work alongside the competent authorities according to the field needs, indicating that addressing the damage caused by the floods and opening the roads is a priority.Al-Shami referred to the directives of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Administration , Local and Rural Development, and the Finan ce Minister regarding the speedy movement to help those affected.Source: Yemen News Agency
