Tripoli: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, met with the Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Muftah Al-Qawi, to discuss supporting the independence of the judiciary and developing the justice system to consolidate the rule of law and achieve justice. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration between judicial and legislative institutions.
According to Libyan News Agency, the House stated on its official page that the meeting was also attended by Khaled Masoud Al-Mudir, the Minister of Justice in the Libyan government appointed by Parliament. Discussions highlighted the necessity of continued joint coordination to address challenges and strengthen the stability of state institutions.
The attendees underscored the importance of working together to ensure a robust and independent judiciary, which is vital for maintaining the rule of law in the country. The collaboration aims to foster a legal environment that supports justice and stability across Libya.
