Dbeibah and Al-Zoubi Discuss Flintlock 2026 Exercise Results for Enhanced Military Readiness

Tripoli: Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, met with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi, to discuss the results of Exercise Flintlock 2026. The focus was on utilizing the outcomes to improve military performance and enhance operational coordination through actionable programs aimed at raising combat readiness.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was reported by the 'Our Government' platform and included members of the (3+3) committee. Discussions centered on the personnel's participation in the exercise, the achievements in enhancing the efficiency of special forces, and the evaluation of field performance. The exercise, organized by the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), is a key event for special operations on the African continent, involving multiple countries.

During the meeting, Al-Zoubi provided a comprehensive presentation on the exercise's results. Dbeibah stressed the importance of building on these results to develop practical implementation programs that will contribute to enhancing the army forces' efficiency and readiness to perform their duties effectively.
