Tripoli: Al Waha Oil Company recently showcased its annual achievements and future goals during a meeting with the National Oil Corporation's technical departments. The gathering, held at the corporation's headquarters, involved a detailed presentation focused on the company's activities for 2025 and its plans for 2026.According to Libyan News Agency, the presentation emphasized the company's accomplishments in the first half of the current year. This included the successful drilling of numerous development wells, notably two oil wells utilizing horizontal drilling technology, which boast a production capacity exceeding 6,000 barrels per day. Additionally, the company completed the maintenance and operation of gas compressors at the North Daffa station, leading to the cessation of gas flaring there.The meeting further explored new field development projects aligned with the corporation's strategy to boost production. Discussions covered the performance of marginal and major fields, alongside production ra tes and forecasts extending over the next decade.Attendees included directors from the technical departments of the Corporation and Al Waha Company, technical and financial specialists, representatives from the Libyan Technology and Al Jawf companies, the Oil Research Center, and foreign partners.
