Tripoli: The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, has received an official invitation from Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba to attend the Ninth International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), which is set to take place next August. The invitation was extended during an official meeting on Thursday.According to Libyan News Agency, the invitation was delivered in person by the Japanese Ambassador to Libya, Shimura Izora. During this meeting, discussions were held about the prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation between Libya and Japan.The discussions between the two parties highlighted the strong relations between Libya and Japan, with both sides expressing a commitment to elevate their relationship to strategic levels. This enhancement aims to serve the aspirations of both nations in various sectors.
