Al-Lafi and Tunisian Prime Minister Discuss Economic and Investment Cooperation

Tripoli: Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, met with Tunisian Prime Minister, Sarah Zaafrani, to discuss enhancing cooperation in the economic and investment fields. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), highlighting the strong ties between Libya and Tunisia.

According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Lafi praised Tunisia's supportive role in Libya's stability and its commitment to the Libyan people. The discussions focused on increasing partnership opportunities between businesses in both countries and activating the Libyan-Tunisian Joint High Committee to benefit both nations.

In addition to economic collaboration, the meeting addressed regional issues, including the plight of the Palestinian people. Both leaders reiterated their unified stance on supporting Palestinian rights and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
