Tripoli: The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, held discussions with the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Libya, Hafiz Rahman, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation. The meeting, which took place today, aimed at leveraging technical expertise to develop the Libyan labor market.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry announced that the meeting explored ways to utilize Indian expertise in technical fields and modern specializations to enhance various sectors within Libya, thereby improving performance efficiency. This collaboration seeks to integrate Indian technical knowledge to support Libyan development initiatives.

The dialogue also covered the procedures for employing Indian workers, which would help regulate the labor market and meet the needs of Libyan employers. This move is anticipated to facilitate knowledge transfer and boost the capabilities of local personnel. Both parties agreed on the significance of expanding cooperation and drawing from successful international experiences.

During the meeting, Al-Abed underscored the importance of broadening cooperation areas, while the Indian Ambassador reiterated India's readiness to offer technical expertise. He emphasized his country's commitment to supporting Libya's development efforts and opening new avenues for joint cooperation.
