Workshop in Cairo to Review Oil Potential of Cyrenaica Basin

Cairo: A specialized workshop organized by the Arabian Gulf Oil Company, with support from the National Oil Corporation (NOC), began today in Cairo, Egypt, to review and assess the oil and gas potential of the Cyrenaica Basin. The NOC affirmed that the Cyrenaica Basin is a promising geological area that is relied upon to bolster national reserves and support the future of the country's energy sector.

According to Libyan News Agency, the workshop represents a valuable opportunity to exchange technical expertise and enhance communication between local and international specialists. This will contribute to developing exploration and evaluation mechanisms for this vital region and promote broader regional cooperation that serves the strategic objectives of the national economy.

It is worth noting that the workshop was attended by the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company and the Director of Exploration at the NOC, with broad participation from local and international experts and specialized global companies.
