WHO Applauds NOC’s Efforts in Supporting Child Cancer Initiatives in Libya

Tripoli: The World Health Organization (WHO) has praised the National Oil Corporation (NOC) for its efforts in channeling resources towards humanitarian and sustainable development initiatives in Libya. These efforts particularly focus on safeguarding children's lives and supporting their families, highlighting Libya's significant role in the Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer Control (GICC).According to Libyan News Agency, the NOC is collaborating with WHO, Reysol, Total, and Eni to implement the "Improving Health Outcomes for Children with Cancer in Libya" project. This initiative is part of the WHO's GICC framework and aims to enhance the country's capacity to manage childhood cancer through various innovative approaches.A significant outcome of this partnership is the development of an advanced national digital platform designed for registering and tracking childhood cancer cases.
