Tripoli: The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, has affirmed his support for the consensus reached by the Sovereign Positions Committees during a meeting held with a delegation from the House of Representatives.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Council announced on its official page that Takala met with the delegation following a meeting in Benghazi on Saturday. Attendees included First Deputy Speaker Hassan Habib, Second Deputy Speaker Musa Faraj, Rapporteur Belkacem Dabarz, and several members of the High Council of State.
The Council elaborated that the meeting involved exchanging views on recent political developments and exploring ways to enhance coordination and consultation between the two councils. The discussions aimed to serve the national interest and support the consensus path to achieve stability in the country. Key topics included the unification of institutions and the appointment of individuals to sovereign positions.
