Tripoli: Acting Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Suleman, met yesterday in Tripoli with Charg© d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on expanding U.S.-Libya business cooperation to aid the NOC in advancing its plans to strengthen the Libyan energy sector. The discussions highlighted strategies to boost oil and gas production, a move anticipated to positively impact the national economy.

Berndt emphasized the importance of a robust NOC, stating that it is crucial for creating more prosperity and economic opportunities for the Libyan people and their international partners.
