Syrian and Libyan Officials Discuss Consular Services for Syrian Community in Libya

Tripoli: The Syrian Foreign Ministry is examining the situation of the Syrian community in Libya. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity discussed with the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates the situation of the Syrian community residing in Libya.

According to Libyan News Agency, this discussion took place during a meeting held in Tripoli. Attended by several officials, the meeting included Najat Shaif, the Director of the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry, and Rabie Al-Zoubi, the Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Ministry of Justice. Representing the Syrian side was Mohammed Jaffal, the Deputy Director of the Department of Arab Affairs, along with his delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides focused on finding solutions to certain issues connected to consular services.
