Sana'a Water and Sanitation Local Corporation (SWSLC) establishment in Sana'a city called on citizens not to open the covers of sewage inspection rooms and manholes in streets and neighborhoods during rains.The director of the institution, Engineer Mohamed Madaees, explained to Saba that opening the covers of inspection rooms and manholes causes blockages and destruction of sewage network lines, sewage overflow of streets, and property damage, in addition to health and environmental risks. He stressed that legal measures will be taken against those who carry out this work.He urged citizens to cooperate with the institution and inform it of any open inspection room or blockage, on the emergency number "171", and to prevent anyone who opens the covers to preserve the sewage network lines, and limit the spread of diseases and epidemics.Source: Yemen News Agency
