Speaker Aguila Saleh Commends Parliamentary Library’s Role in Supporting Culture and Knowledge

Benghazi: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, visited the Parliamentary Library at the House of Representatives' headquarters in Benghazi, accompanied by Council Member Abdul Nabi Abdul Mawla and Head of the Council's Office, Abdullah Al-Masry Al-Fadhil.

According to Libyan News Agency, during the visit, the delegation explored the library's departments and reviewed the collection of books, encyclopedias, and documents available. The library is equipped with modern technical means and facilities dedicated to reading and browsing, supporting the needs of its users.

The Speaker of the House engaged with library staff to gain insight into the mechanism for classifying and indexing books according to the latest standards in library science. He also examined the library's electronic services, which provide digital resources that align with recent developments in accessing information.

The Parliamentary Library boasts a specialized collection of references and documents that aid parliamentary work, as well as a diverse array of books across various fields. This enables representatives, advisors, and Council staff to perform their duties efficiently.

At the conclusion of his visit, Counselor Aguila Saleh left a note in the visitors' log, expressing his admiration for the library's development and organization.
