Dr. Fayza Haider, Senior Consultant Pediatric Surgeon at Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC), has been granted the membership of the American Pediatric Surgical Association (APSA), becoming the first Bahraini member.

Dr. Haider had been a regular attendee of APSA’s conferences and meetings until she was admitted as a member.

She also participated in many local and international conferences on pediatric surgery, where she presented valuable work papers and lectures.

She was handed over the membership certificate by APSA Board of Governors member, Jessica J. Kandel.
