Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reviewed the latest security and political developments in Libya during his meeting today in Cairo with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani. Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy stated that President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s commitment to Libya’s stability, protecting the resources of its people, and preserving its unity, emphasizing the importance of resolving all political differences through peaceful means to achieve stability in the country.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Italian Foreign Minister praised Egypt’s efforts to restore regional stability, highlighting his country’s keenness to consult and coordinate continuously with Egypt in this regard.
