Shuwayrif: An expanded meeting at the Shuwayrif Municipal Council office focused on the issues of illegal immigration and the surge in immigrant numbers within the municipality. The gathering aimed to assess the growing challenges posed by this situation.According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting also concentrated on the municipality's reconstruction efforts, which have commenced several projects. Discussions included preparations for targeted projects within the established plan and the need to expedite their implementation.The meeting brought together members of the Al-Jofra Municipal Council, the head of the Senate, local mayors, as well as security and military officials. Key participants included heads of the police station, the Internal Security Branch, the Municipal Guard, and the Passports and Nationality Department.Participants agreed to establish a joint security room for the municipality's security agencies. This initiative aims to monitor the security situation, manage public streets, and ensure the safety of the region and its citizens.
