The 45th Ordinary Session of the Shura Council was chaired today by its Speaker, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh.

During the session, the council discussed various reports presented by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee; the Human Resources and Social Development Committee; the Energy and Industry Committee; the Finance and Economic Committee; the Islamic and Judicial Affairs Committee; and the Hajj, Housing and Services Committee

Furthermore, the Shura Council approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Energy, and the government of the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals. This memorandum pertains to the field of energy and was signed in Sharm El Sheikh on 7/11/2022.

Moreover, several items on the council's agenda were discussed during the session.
