The Global AI Summit (GAIN Summit) witnessed the activation of the Artificial Intelligence Mission (AI.M) national initiative, a partnership between the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA), the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).The initiative aims to build a comprehensive AI innovation ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, enhancing national AI capabilities and fostering talent and companies. It also seeks to stimulate an integrated AI system through partnerships, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.The initiative contributes to stimulating investment in innovation centers, which support research, development, and innovation and empower national talent.The initiative operates through three tracks: applied research, capacity building, and company building. AI.M was activated during the Global AI Summit to introduce its tracks and establish an AI innov ation ecosystem.The initiative aims to graduate 1000 AI engineers, build 50 local startups, and attract 50 international companies.Source: Saudi Press Agency
