The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ST Engineering, a leading technology and engineering company. The agreement aims to explore collaboration and knowledge exchange in various areas related to smart traffic management in Saudi cities. The goal is to develop AI solutions that will enhance road safety and improve the quality of life.SDAIA supports the digital transformation of smart cities in Saudi Arabia and collaborates with several government entities to launch projects and initiatives related to AI technologies. These efforts have strengthened the concept of smart cities, contributing to the rise of five Saudi cities in the Smart City Index 2024, issued by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), compared to the 2023 report.Source: Saudi Press Agency
