Saudi Physics Team Awarded at 2023 International Physics Olympiad

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), whose students participated in the 2023 International Physics Olympiad, which is being held in Japan between July 9 and 18, earned recognition through three of the students.

Hussein Kadah, third secondary grade at the Jeddah Education Department, and Mazen Al-Shakhs, first secondary grade at Al-Ahsa Education Department, won each a bronze medal, while Rose Al-Sindi, first secondary grade at the Makkah Education Department, was given a certificate of appreciation.

With this latest achievement, the Kingdom now has 42 medals and certificates of appreciation earned at various Olympic science competitions.

The Saudi physics team participated with five students at the International Physics Olympiad in which 387 students from 82 countries took part.
