- The General Department of Education in Riyadh organized an introductory program for 50 teachers from the People's Republic of China who will teach the Chinese language to students of both genders in the schools.Director General of Education in Riyadh Dr. Nayef bin Abed Al-Zarea said that teaching the Chinese language to students in public schools is part of a national strategic project that will help these students acquire the language from Chinese teachers.The program included an introduction to the Kingdom's education system and its various stages, as well as a review of the proposed curriculum and the approved stages for teaching Chinese.Source: Saudi Press Agency
