According to the Roads General Authority, Najran's road network, spanning over 2,850 km, meets high safety and quality standards, and bolsters commercial, developmental, and economic activities in the region, leveraging Najran's strategic location to enhance its status as a key tourist and commercial destination.Significant road projects are evident in the region, entailing either construction or maintenance. Currently, a 10-km road-construction project, estimated at SAR94 million, is in progress, as are five major maintenance projects covering 113 km, worth SAR153 million.These projects align with the strategic goals of the road sector, focusing on safety, quality, and traffic management. The overarching objective is to elevate the region to one of the top globally in road quality, and reduce fatalities to less than five per 100,000 individuals by 2030.Source: Saudi Press Agency
