Doha: An emergency Arab-Islamic summit is set to convene in Doha on Monday to address the recent Israeli aggression against Qatar. Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, Advisor to the Qatari Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed the summit’s schedule, highlighting its importance amidst the evolving regional circumstances.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Dr. Al Ansari revealed to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the summit will deliberate on a draft statement concerning the Israeli attack on Qatar. This draft has been prepared by a preliminary meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers, which is scheduled for Sunday.
Dr. Al Ansari emphasized the significance of the summit, noting that it symbolizes the widespread Arab and Islamic solidarity with Qatar in response to the Israeli aggression. He further remarked on the united stance of these countries against what they perceive as state terrorism, following attacks targeting the residences of several Hamas leaders in Qatar.
