Algiers: The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdallah Qaderbouh, participated in the 7th General Assembly of the Association of African Anti-Corruption Authorities (AAACA) in Algeria. The meeting was held under the theme “Asset Recovery: Enhancing Cooperation and Sharing Experiences for a Strong and United Africa Against Corruption.”
According to Libyan News Agency, the session, which took place from July 20 to July 22, was aimed at enhancing coordination and intensifying cooperation among African countries in the field of oversight and anti-corruption work. This is being conducted within the framework of both the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption and the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
The AAACA is an independent international organization focused on coordinating and cooperating between oversight and anti-corruption bodies in African nations. It aims to facilitate joint efforts among member states in oversight, combating corruption and illicit financial flows, conducting investigations, collecting evidence, and providing it to the investigating authorities, as reported by the oversight body.
