Tripoli: The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, received the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, on Monday, marking the end of Longden's tenure in Libya, which concludes at the end of October.
According to Libyan News Agency, this meeting is part of the Commission's ongoing efforts to enhance communication with international partners who support the electoral process in Libya. The discussions focused on sharing perspectives on the efforts made to complete the electoral process, thereby reinforcing the democratic progress in the country.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Commission expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Ambassador Longden for his significant efforts and contributions in supporting the Commission. He also extended his best wishes for Longden's continued success in his future endeavors.
