The Public Prosecution in Dhamar province released 166 prisoners, on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday.The head of the province's appeals prosecution, Judge Anan Shaea, told Saba that the release took place during a field visit to inspect prisons and detention centers, which began in early spring, by the head and prosecutors in the province.He pointed out that the field inspection procedures included listening to prisoners and their complaints and ascertaining the legality of detention, after which it was decided to direct the release of eight of those who meet the conditions of conditional release, 158 on bail, release cases pending investigation and two positions with the police and security.Source: Yemen News Agency
