According to Libyan News Agency, Orlando expressed his enthusiasm for working closely with Vallat in a tweet, saying, "Welcome to Tripoli to H.E. Thierry Vallat, the new Ambassador of France to Libya. Looking forward to cooperating closely in 'Team Europe' spirit to strengthen the EU-Libya partnership across the country."
