Rabat - Moroccan security forces arrested a 19-year-old man with alleged extremist ties on Thursday, as part of ongoing operations to counter terrorism threats in the country, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) announced.The suspect, a resident of Ksar Amalou in Errich, Midelt province, had reportedly expressed intent to carry out attacks aimed at jeopardizing public safety and disrupting social order, DGSN-DGST underlined in a press release.Currently in police custody, the individual is being questioned under the supervision of the public prosecutor specializing in terrorism cases.
