Beirut:The House of Representatives held a session presided over by Misbah Douma, in the absence of the Speaker, Aguila Saleh.

According to Libyan News Agency, during the session, Douma delivered a farewell address on behalf of the House leadership. He announced the suspension of the leadership body's activities until a session can be convened, chaired by the eldest member, to elect a new Speaker of Parliament to succeed Aguila Saleh.
