Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef has met with President of the Italian Region of Lombardy Attilio Fontana at the ministry's headquarters to discuss opportunities for cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Italy in industrial innovation, advanced manufacturing technologies, and knowledge transfer. They also explored innovative solutions for key industrial sectors that Saudi Arabia aims to localize.The meeting focused on enhancing joint cooperation in industrial sectors that leverage Fourth Industrial Revolution solutions to support sustainable economic growth through knowledge and innovation. This includes advanced industries, communications, healthcare, and renewable energy. The two sides also discussed opportunities in advanced industries such as aviation, space, and information technology.Minister Alkhorayef highlighted Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objectives to diversify the national economy and the investment opportunities provided by the National Industrial Strateg y.
