Libyan Emergency Services Bolstered by Georgetown University Partnership

Tripoli: A cooperation agreement has been established between the Center for Emergency Medicine and Support and Georgetown University, aiming to enhance the capabilities of the emergency sector in Libya.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center officially signed the agreement with Georgetown University in the United States to transfer knowledge and train Libyan personnel. The agreement was signed by the center's head, Tariq Abdul Salam Al-Hamshari, during his visit to the United States last April, with the objective of qualifying Libyan cadres and raising their efficiency.

The center has confirmed that the first training program under this partnership began today. This program involves a team from the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, representing various offices across Libya, as part of continuous efforts to elevate the standard of emergency services within the country.
