Libyan and Turkish Officials Discuss Regularization of Turkish Companies in Libya

Tripoli: The Minister of Economy and Trade, Suhail Boushiha, met with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Guven Begi§, to address the issue of regularizing the status of Turkish companies operating within Libya. The meeting aimed to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two nations.

According to Libyan News Agency, discussions focused on the progress made in regularizing the status of Turkish companies in Libya. This process involves completing technical and regulatory procedures to foster trust and establish a stable business environment. Such efforts are intended to support the return of projects and the resumption of joint economic activities.

Additionally, the meeting covered preparations for the forthcoming Libyan-Turkish Joint Committee meeting. Both parties explored mechanisms to enhance trade relations and open broader avenues for partnership and investment. These initiatives are designed to serve mutual interests and bolster development and economic cooperation between Libya and Turkey.
