Libyan and Egyptian Officials Discuss Development Cooperation in Southern Libya

Tripoli:Salem Maatouq Al-Zadma, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, met with Tamer El-Hefny, the Egyptian Chargé d'Affaires in Libya, to discuss cooperation and development in southern Libya.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen Libyan-Egyptian relations and explore ways to expand joint cooperation to benefit both countries. Key topics included enhancing coordination and consultation between Tripoli and Cairo to support regional stability and cooperation in various sectors.

The discussions also focused on leveraging Egyptian expertise and companies to aid development efforts in southern Libya. The officials explored opportunities for collaboration on development projects and programs.
