Tripoli: Libyan Airlines officially apologized to its passengers on Saturday for the cancellation of flight number LN193 (Istanbul-Tripoli), scheduled for yesterday, Friday, confirming that the cancellation was due to reasons beyond its control.

According to Libyan News Agency, the company clarified in a post on its official social media page that it will refund the full value of the tickets to the affected passengers without any deductions. The refund procedures will be carried out through its authorized offices in various Libyan cities.

In a move described as unprecedented, Libyan Airlines announced a special discount for affected passengers when booking future flights with the company. This gesture aims to show appreciation for their understanding and to enhance their confidence in the national carrier.

The company affirmed that passenger safety and the quality of services are always a top priority within its operational policies. It emphasized that it is making every effort to ensure the regularity of flights and to provide alternative solutions in the event of any emergency beyond its control.
