Tripoli: The Foreign Ministry of the Government of National Unity has extended its solidarity to China following devastating floods that have affected several provinces, causing a significant loss of life and extensive damage to property and infrastructure.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a statement on Thursday, offering condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the People’s Republic of China. The statement also extended condolences to the families of the victims and those injured due to the floods.

The Ministry reiterated its full solidarity with China during this challenging humanitarian situation, expressing confidence in the ability of Chinese authorities to manage the disaster’s effects and overcome its repercussions.
