Tripoli: The Regional Technical Advisory Committee of the African Center for Disease Control in the Northern Region elected the State of Libya as Vice-Chair of the Committee, during its preparatory session for the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the North African Region scheduled to be held in the third quarter of this year.According to a statement by the Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity today, Wednesday, the Regional Technical Advisory Committee of the African Center for Disease Control in the Northern Region is entrusted with the responsibility of unifying policies to confront cross-border diseases, and working together on the common health goals of the African Union countries.The Technical Advisory Committee for the State of Libya includes in its membership the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Public Hospitals Affairs, Saad El-Din Abdel-Wakil, and the Advisor to the National Center for Disease Control, Taher Al-Mahbas.Source: Libyan News Agency
