Libya and Saudi Arabia Focus on Strengthening Ties and Addressing Gaza Situation

Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Libya, Taher Al-Baour, engaged in discussions with Abdullah bin Dakhil Al-Salmi, the Charg© d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Libya, to explore ways to fortify the bilateral relations between Libya and Saudi Arabia.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, where both officials deliberated on enhancing cooperation across various sectors. The discussions also encompassed a review of pressing international and regional issues, with a particular focus on the ongoing situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Both parties expressed a mutual interest in efforts to halt the conflict and emphasized the need for delivering humanitarian and food aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
