Tripoli: The Libyan Export Development Authority, led by Mohamed Al-Anqari, convened a significant meeting with the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Aydar Aganin, at its headquarters in Tripoli. The discussions centered on enhancing trade relations between Libya and Russia, specifically focusing on bolstering non-oil Libyan exports.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Authority revealed on its official Facebook page that the meeting explored joint cooperation strategies to facilitate access for Libyan products into Russian markets. The discussion also included the potential for Russia to provide necessary facilities to boost the flow of Libyan exports into the country.
Furthermore, the Authority noted that both parties agreed to maintain ongoing meetings to develop effective mechanisms for the proposed cooperation and to establish a legal framework that benefits both nations. The Russian Embassy in Libya also shared on its official Facebook page that the Russian Ambassador's meeting with Mohamed Al-Anqari emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations through national institutions dedicated to promoting exports.
