Tripoli: Libya and Czechia are exploring avenues to leverage industrial expertise and set priorities for collaborative efforts. Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abu Heisa, hosted the Czech Ambassador to Libya, Ryszard Kadeljak, along with the Embassy's Commercial Attach©, Martin Trojen, at the Ministry's headquarters.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on fostering cooperation between the two nations in industrial and commercial sectors. Discussions centered on the potential for Libya to benefit from Czech expertise in developing its industrial infrastructure, particularly in manufacturing, technology transfer, and capacity building.

Both parties emphasized the need to identify priorities for joint practical collaboration, aiming to enhance the chances of implementing development programs that would support and improve Libya's industrial sector. The meeting also reviewed possible partnerships in industrial investments and the development of technical personnel, aligning with Libya's efforts to rejuvenate its industrial sector and diversify its production base.

The Czech Ambassador expressed a keen interest in expanding cooperation with Libya, highlighting the promising opportunities across various industrial fields. He affirmed Czechia's readiness to provide necessary technical support to Libya in these endeavors.
