Large-Scale Security Operation in Sabratha Leads to Arrest of Hundreds of Illegal Immigrants

Sabratha: A large-scale security campaign in Sabratha has resulted in the arrest of hundreds of illegal immigrants. Joint security patrols affiliated with the Field Work Committee of the Sabratha Security Room carried out the operation.

According to Libyan News Agency, the media office of the Sabratha Security Directorate reported that the arrests took place during a significant security campaign conducted by security services earlier today. The campaign focused on targeting illegal immigrants at workers' stations and public places across the city.

The Sabratha Security Directorate confirmed coordination with the control room of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency to facilitate the reception of those arrested at one of the agency's shelters located in Tripoli. Additionally, legal measures have been enacted against property owners who provided housing to the immigrants.
