Expanded Security Meeting in Sabha Focuses on Regional Challenges

Sabha: An expanded security meeting was held in the city of Sabha to discuss the security situation and challenges facing the southern region. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Ahmed Houma, led discussions with security directors and law enforcement agencies, concentrating on the region's security landscape.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on the prominent difficulties and obstacles confronting the security agencies. It also explored mechanisms for enhancing joint coordination and improving performance to ensure continued security stability in the area.

Houma emphasized the necessity of intensified efforts and close cooperation among various security agencies to maintain security in the region. He highlighted the importance of enhancing the institutions' ability to address current challenges and commended the security directorates for their role in promoting stability.
