Tripoli: The Libyan News Agency (LANA) has issued a warning to its followers about a counterfeit Facebook page that is falsely representing the name and visual identity of its newspaper, Al-Anbaa Al-Libya. This newspaper is a part of the Libyan News Agency Foundation’s media outlets.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Board of Directors of the Libyan News Agency Foundation is committed to taking all necessary legal actions against those responsible for the fraudulent page. The agency emphasizes that the fake page intends to tarnish the reputation of the official Libyan News Agency newspaper and disrupt its editorial policy, which is deeply rooted in national principles. These principles have been the foundation of the agency’s editorial direction since its establishment sixty years ago.
