Benghazi: UN Deputy Special Representative for the Secretary-General, Stephanie Koury, announced she held talks in Benghazi with the General Commander of the LNA, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar. The discussions focused on political, economic, and security developments, as well as efforts to overcome the political deadlock in preparation for national elections.According to Libyan News Agency, Koury mentioned that the talks reviewed the progress of the political process in light of UNSMIL's efforts, including the Structured Dialogue. The importance of unifying state institutions and the national budget was emphasized to enhance stability and improve service delivery for all Libyans.The discussions marked the conclusion of Koury's four-day visit to Benghazi.
