The Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI), a member of the IsDB Group, today announced the completion of its financial mapping project in Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC). The project aims to identify key opportunities and challenges within the Islamic finance sector in the country.IsDBI and AIFC have jointly prepared the "Islamic Finance in Kazakhstan 2024" report, which provides a comprehensive outlook for enhancing the Islamic finance industry. The report highlights the favorable conditions for Islamic financial firms operating in retail and corporate sectors.The report offers valuable analysis of the current status of the sector and its future prospects. In addition to the Islamic finance management action plan recommendations presented to AIFC, the report will be instrumental in guiding policymakers, investors, and financial institutions as they work to fully harness the potential of Islamic finance in Kazakhstan.Source: Saudi Press Agency
