Benghazi: The UK Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, and Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar engaged in discussions yesterday in Benghazi, focusing on enhancing cooperation between Libya and the UK in defense and security sectors.

According to Libyan News Agency, Ambassador Reynolds described the meeting as 'constructive,' highlighting that various issues of mutual interest were addressed. The discussions also emphasized the importance of strengthening Libyan-British cooperation, particularly in defense and combating illegal immigration.

Reynolds also stressed the significance of supporting efforts to advance the political process in Libya, noting that these efforts were a key topic during the meeting.
