Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi has met here with Republic of Korea Foreign Minister Cho Tae-Yul, on the sidelines of the 79th UN General Assembly meeting.The two officials emphasized the need to boost strategic dialogue between GCC and the Republic of Korea through cooperation outlined in the joint action plan.They also underlined the need to strengthen fruitful cooperation, and discussed the updates on the Free Trade Agreement signed by GCC and the Republic of Korea in December 2023.They also discussed key regional issues of common interest, and exchanged views on the developments in the region.Source: Saudi Press Agency
