Tripoli: Mehraj affirms France's support for the Special Representative and the mission with the aim of building peace and stability in Libya. The Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Hanna Serwaa Tetteh, discussed on Monday with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Mehraj, the results of her recent meetings with Libyan officials and international actors, as well as views on the work of the Advisory Committee and the next steps in the political process.According to Libyan News Agency, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) stated that the Special Representative of the Secretary-General emphasized that once the Advisory Committee submits its recommendations to the Mission, further political support from key Libyan stakeholders will be required.For his part, the French Ambassador affirmed during the meeting his country's support for the Special Representative and the Mission in facilitating a comprehensive political process aimed at building peace and stability in Libya.
