FAl-Abed Engages Al-Hafni in Talks on Egyptian Workers’ Status in Libya

Tripoli: The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, met with Tamer Al-Hafni, the Charg© d'Affaires of the Egyptian Embassy in Libya, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in regulating the labor market.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on addressing issues related to the regulation of Egyptian workers' status in Libya and finalizing the procedures for their employment. The discussions highlighted the importance of adhering to Libyan laws and regulations to protect the rights of workers and employers, stabilize the labor market, and ensure a legal work environment.

The Minister emphasized the need for continued cooperation to facilitate administrative processes and ensure compliance with employment regulations, reflecting the strong relationship between Libya and Egypt. Al-Hafni expressed the Egyptian Embassy's support for the Ministry's efforts to streamline legal procedures for Egyptian workers.
