A meeting held on Sunday in Sana'a, chaired by Culture and Tourism Minister Dr. Ali Al-Yafei, discussed the priorities of the ministry's work during the next phase.The meeting, which included Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Abdullah Al-Washli, President of the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums Abad Al-Hayal, Executive Director of the Tourism Promotion Council Jarallah Fadel, and a number of leaders and specialists in the ministry, reviewed the ministry's work priorities, based on the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the program of the Government of Construction and Change.The Culture and Tourism Minister stressed the importance of bringing the work of the ministry out of stagnation , implementing programs and activities that restore its presence in an honorable manner to the reality of society , highlight it as a cultural and tourist destination for the Yemeni state , the government of change and construction.Minister Al-Yafei discussed the arts encouragement , human cr eativity, handicrafts , everything that would build man , society based on our faith-based identity and our inherent connection to Islam, its Prophet and the Prophet of Guidance.The Culture and Tourism Minister pointed out the importance of inventorying tourism facilities in the Secretariat and the provinces, preparing a documented database based on data from the field, providing integrated information on tourist sites, as well as available tourism investment opportunities, and working to include new investment sites based on a field survey covering various Yemeni regions.Source: Yemen News Agency
